Florida Keys, Florida

Updated: Nov 11, 2020

Teeming with activities for visitors of all ages and interests, the islands of the Florida Keys make for a classic Florida vacation.

Always up for adventure! And this was not the exception, my friends and I planned short trips to different places to get out of the traditional, meet and lead a life full of adventures, knowing beautiful places. I live in New York and I have a good job, but city life manages to make my brain explode from time to time. for this reason this type of trips make my soul happy. Our group is very closed and we are always planning where to go.

This time we decided to dive in the Florida Keys. A new destination, a new adventure, I couldn't wait to see everything I had seen in images on my laptop.

I was carrying only my travel backpack, the one that accompanies me and gives me luck. My eyes were ready to admire the wonders in the depths of that beautiful sea and my body was physically ready for the dive.

The water off the coast of the Florida Keys is unlike any other part of the world. You just have to take the numbers into account: a nearly 3,000 square nautical mile marine sanctuary where there are 6,000 marine species, a row of shipwrecks with nine historical remains (and a total of around 1,000 shipwrecks by surrounding locations) and the third largest barrier of reefs of the world. Depths range from 18 to 120 feet, and each dive site offers its own unique qualities!

Whether you're a seasoned diver or a novice, certified beginner or more advanced diver, or want to see man-made wonders and biodiversity on thousands of years old reefs, the Florida Keys are a paradise for anyone.

Definitely the most beautiful dive site in the world.
